Being Enterpreneur, Why not?

In this globalization era there are many unemployment people, it means that it is very difficult to have a job. The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) recorded that the number of unemployed people in Indonesia is 8.3 million people as per August 2010. It is clear that the number of unemployment in Indonesia is very high; the government should pay attention for this problem.

Many people think that being employee is the key to reach a success, but we can see that in this globalization era, seeking a job is very difficult because most of the factory use machine to produce their product. It makes a little chance to be the employee in the factory. Because of that problem people start to have a business. Now days, to be a businessman are very important because it is not only can decrease unemployment in this country but also we can be job creator and to be employer for many persons. According to David McClelland if there is 2% society in a country to be entrepreneur or businessman, it can makes that country will prosperous. Besides Prof Edward Lazear from Stanford University said that businessman are predominant in capitalist economies.

Moreover, According to BPS Indonesia only has 0.18% or about 400.000 Entrepreneur in 2007. It means that the number of entrepreneur in Indonesia is very low. So to solve it the government should pay attention to create a lot of entrepreneur.

Most of people thing that there is a little chance to be entrepreneur because they thing that being entrepreneur is very difficult, we should work hard and we could not study it, they prefer choose to be job seeker or employee rather than being job creator or entrepreneur. But now, we can see the fact that entrepreneur can handle the economic sector in our country, for example: Sandiaga S. Uno the CEO of PT. SARITOGA, Tbk, Bob Sadino, Yusuf Kalla. They can success because of being entrepreneur. A chance to be entrepreneur is very wide; if you want to be entrepreneur you didn’t need much money and high education. You just need a great desire to be entrepreneur. One of the best reasons to become an entrepreneur is that you get to work for yourself, rather than for someone else. Since you are the Boss you may have employees working for you or you may be running your own business out of your house. You can set your own schedule, working regular hours or whenever you choose and on whatever you feel is most important at a given time.

For many people, they thought more than once about becoming an entrepreneur, because being entrepreneur is not in the safe area. It different with being employee, they can get a salary for each months and their financial were safe. Besides, they think that they cannot be success if they will be entrepreneur. But in fact we can see that there are many beneficial of being entrepreneur, such as:

A.    Independence

One of the best reasons to become an entrepreneur is that you get to work for yourself. You are the boss for your self and also for your employee. You may have employees working for you or you may be running your own business out of your house. You can set your own schedule, working regular hours or whenever you choose and on whatever you feel is most important at a given time. You have the freedom to make more time to spend with your family. You also have the freedom to try new things and new experiment.

B.     Income Potential

Another reasons being entrepreneur is you can manage your own potential income, If you decide to work hard, work smart and perhaps work longer hours, you will reward yourself with more money. You must understand that when you are an entrepreneur you should keep you motivated to do your best. Because it is your own business, this business depends on your self.

C.     Satisfaction

When we were as an entrepreneur, you can make a service or product by our self, the service or product which you create will have some benefits for your customers, other people will give you a wonderful feeling at the end of a hard work day. These make personal satisfaction for our self. You'll also be satisfied knowing that you can accomplish goals and have a successful business.

D.    Building Relationships

Becoming an entrepreneur will give you the opportunity to meet new people and go to new places. You will find people who have been in similar situations or who are currently struggling with some of the same issues as you are. Sharing tips, asking for advice and partnering with other business owners will help your circle of friends and acquaintances grow. Look to these people for guidance and inspiration.

From that reasons above it is clear that in this globalization era, being entrepreneur is a solution of problems in difficulties of finding a job. Being entrepreneur also has many beneficial for us.  

Well, make a move!  DO something!  Success doesn’t come by just reading about it. Stop seeking opportunity and start moving towards the life you really want and deserve.  People who are ready to become entrepreneurs only though please, I’m afraid I don’t really have the spare time to use on just another opportunity seeker. Finally, any one of you may become the next Sandiaga S Uno, Bob Sadino, Donald Trump, Oprah Winfrey or Bill Gates.
